Jamie Fine spent her first 24 years in the Chicago area, where she earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the University of Chicago, studying ceramics with Ruth Duckworth. She has been working with clay since the 1970s, creating vessels, sculpture, and large installations whose themes echo aspects of the natural world.
